Ms. Heng (Harriet) Cao is a Senior Technical Staff Member from IBM Research. She is an award-winning practitioner of advanced technologies. She has more than 10 years experience in solving real world business problems through combining the modern enterprise information technology with advanced analytics and optimization methods. Ms. Cao is currently stationed in Shanghai, China, serving as the IBM Research Global Labs’ Analytics Leader. She leads the cross geo Research teams in developing innovative analytics technologies to address the emerging analytics requirements from Growth Markets. Prior to that, she was on assignment from IBM Watson Research center to IBM China Research Lab as the CTO for business analytics and optimization. Harriet and her team participated in many IBM on demand business transformation projects and successfully helped the business to improve performance through analytics. She was the recipient of many IBM awards including Outstanding Technical Achievement. She also received the 2008 National Women of Color Rising Star Award and the 2010 INFORMS Daniel H. Wagner Prize.

Dr. Weihang Jiang is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Netease and leads the Youdao Cloud Note team. Before joining Netease, he worked at HP Labs and Advanced Technology Group of NetApp, and participated in building LogInsight (large-scale IT data analysis product, acquired by VMware in July 2012) at Pattern Insight. He has many years of experience in big data processing, cloud computing, and distributed systems. Dr. Jiang received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Zhejiang University in 2002, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008.

Mr. Shoukun Wang is Chief Scientist and Vice President of Douban.com, and leads the algorithm department and music related products and operations. With rich experience on algorithm design and data mining, he is currently focusing on Internet information architecture and algorithms, web 2.0 products and business model innovation, digital music, recommendation system, and online-radio service. Mr. Shoukun Wang received B.E. and M.E. degree from Tsinghua University, China.

Dr. Yi Wang is the Director of Contextual Advertising Center of MIG (Mobile Internet Group) at Tencent. He joined Tencent in 2010 and has been leading the research on search advertising quality and related business development. Before joining Tencent, he worked in Google China as a research staff member focusing on large-scale parallel machine learning systems, recommender systems, and advertising systems. Dr. Yi Wang received Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 2007.
