Guoqing Chen

Dr. Guoqing Chen is the EMC Chair Professor of School of Economics and Management in Tsinghua University. He was appointed China’s Chang-Jiang Scholars Professor in 2005. His research interests include Business Intelligence and e-Business, Fuzzy Logic and Data Modeling, IT Management and Strategy. Professor Chen also serves as Vice Chairman of Educational Steering Committee for Management Science and Engineering, Ministry of Education of China; Member of China State Information Advisory Committee; President of China Association for Information Systems (AIS China Chapter) (CNAIS); as well as Vice Chairman of China Information Economy Society, of Management Science and Engineering Society, and of Fuzzy Mathematics and Fuzzy Systems Association of China (IFSA China Chapter) Systems and Data, Models and Decisions for both undergraduate and graduate students at Tsinghua SEM.

 

Jian Chen

Dr. Jian Chen is Lenovo Chair Professor and Chairman of Management Science Department, Director of Research Center for Contemporary Management, Tsinghua University. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1983, and the M.Sc. and the Ph.D. degree both in Systems Engineering from the same University in 1986 and 1989, respectively. His main research interests include supply chain management, E-commerce, decision support systems. Dr. Chen has published over 100 papers in refereed journals and has been a principal investigator for over 30 grants or research contracts with National Science Foundation of China, governmental organizations and companies. He has been invited to present several plenary lectures. He is the recipient of Ministry of Education Changjiang Scholars, Fudan Management Excellence Award, IBM Faculty Award, Science and Technology Progress Awards of Beijing Municipal Government; the Outstanding Contribution Award of IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society; Science and Technology Progress Award of the State Educational Commission; Science & Technology Award for Chinese Youth. He has also been elected to IEEE Fellow. He serves/served as a Regional VP of the Production and Operations Management Society(2010-2012), Chairman of the Service Systems and Organizations Technical Committee of IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society(2002-), Vice President of Systems Engineering Society of China(2006-2014), Vice President of China Society for Optimization and Overall Planning(2006-2014), a member of the Standing Committee of China Information Industry Association(1998-). He also serves/served as editor/area editor/associate editor/editorial board member for many international journals.

 

Lihua Huang

Dr. Lihua Huang is professor of information systems at the Department of Information Management, School of Management, Fudan University. She received her Ph.D in MIS from Fudan University. Dr. Huang’s research interests include e-business, ERP and information system management. Her publications have appeared in Information and Management, Europe Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Electronic Commerce Research, Decision Support System, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management,  International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Global Information Management , and other journals. She consults with major companies in Shanghai and government departments of China. She is a co-chair of the program committee of Asia Pacific Conference on Information Systems 2004 and ICIS 2011.

 

Jianmin Jia

Dr. Jamie Jia is professor and the Dean of School of Economics and Management in Southwest Jiaotong University. He was appointed China’s Chang-Jiang Scholars Chair Professor, and also a winner of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. His research interests include decision making theory and application, consumer choice model, management of customer relationship, market risk analysis and Chinese marketing. Many of his studies have obtained funding from the US National Science Foundation or Research Grants Committee of the Hong Kong Government. His research achievement has gained widespread recognition in academic world. He published thesis over 20 in International Journals as Management Science, Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Research and Operations Research, over 60 in International Congress, English books and Chinese academic journals. He has gained Best paper reward from INFORMS Decision analysis academy in the paper competition for graduate students, INFORMS Franz Edelman Finalist Award, and has served as president or chapter chairman in several important international conference. 

 

Yezheng Liu

Dr. Yezheng Liu is professor of School of Management in Hefei University of Technology. He is one of State Class Persons of National Talents Engineering of Ministry of Personnel of China, and also an expert who enjoys the State Council special allowance. As a member in e-commerce teaching Guidance Committee under Education Ministry of China, deputy director of the Key Laboratory for process optimization and intelligent decision of the Education Ministry of China, and also deputy director of national and local engineering research center for intelligent decision and information system technology, he has been engaged in teaching and research on E-commerce and Decision Science for a long time. He has finished three projects from the National Natural Science Foundation, one sub-project from the China National “973” program and one sub-project from the China National “863” program as principle investigator. Besides, he has also been working on development and research for more than 20 enterprises such as Baidu, Alibaba and so on. Professor Liu has won Provincial Awards on Technology Advancement Prize, State-level Teaching Prize and Provincial Teaching Achievements prizes. He has published more than 100 papers on journals such as marketing science or international conference proceedings.

 

 

Qiang Ye

Dr. Qiang Ye is professor at Harbin Institute of Technology and dean of School of Management. He got the awards of the New Century Excellent Talents in 2008 and National Outstanding Youth Science fund by the ministry of education in 2012. He has been in the University of Texas at Austin and the University of California, San Diego and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to do research and teaching work and has published more than 20 academic papers in POM, IJHM and DSS and other international mainstream academic journalism. The best papers award the Asia-Pacific Conference Information System (PACIS) in 2008. In 2011 as China’s summer academic information system (CSWIM) co-chairman of the meeting and as associate editor (AE) of International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) in 2011, 2012. He is also an editor of MISQ, JECR and ECRA. Main research field is in e-commerce, financial management information system, data mining, the Internet.
